1. Nature of the Organization

We are a non-profit charitable public trust established in 2021, operating on a “no profit, no loss” basis to promote education, healthcare, environmental conservation, sports, cultural preservation, disaster relief, and community welfare in rural Sangli District, Maharashtra, in compliance with applicable Indian laws including the Bombay Public Trusts Act, Income Tax Act, 1961, and Companies Act, 2013 (for CSR activities).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or have valid parental/guardian consent to use our services, make donations, or register as a volunteer. By using our services, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Donations

– All donations are voluntary and non-refundable except in cases of proven technical error or fraud, subject to our sole discretion and applicable law.  

– Donations made through the Website or offline are processed securely via third-party payment gateways. We are not responsible for any issues arising from third-party payment processors.  

– Donations qualify for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (subject to valid provisional approval till AY 2026-27). Tax-exemption receipts will be issued only upon request and after successful transaction verification.  

– We reserve the right to use donated funds solely for our charitable objectives as outlined in our Memorandum of Association and governing registrations.

4. Volunteer Participation

– Registration as a volunteer does not create any employment, contractual, or agency relationship with the Organization.  

– Volunteers participate at their own risk. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered during volunteer activities unless caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.  

– Volunteers must comply with all instructions, safety guidelines, and codes of conduct provided during events or programs.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website (text, images, videos, logos, reports, photographs, etc.) is owned by or licensed to Shivchhaya Sevabhavi Sanstha Daribadchi. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use with proper attribution.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:  

– Use the Website or our services for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organization, its trustees, office bearers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of our services, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your interaction with the Organization shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Sangli, Maharashtra.
